Growing the flock

Sheep are amazingly resilient animals and are able to survive on rougher land and grazing than many other kinds of livestock. This means they can provide a lifeline for poor farming families. Sheep provide milk and meat, helping to improve people's diets, while their manure helps to fertilize and enrich the soil, boosting crop yields.
