It needn’t take a lot to improve people’s health and living conditions. Basic hygiene, a better diet and other low-cost solutions all have a part to play. By teaching people simple techniques they can share, we can quickly help change the lives of whole communities.
Building gifts are passed on to others in need by sharing techniques and experience.
“I am very grateful for the support of Send a Cow – especially for the training, which has helped me to look after my children.”
Flora Anyango Wambia, Kenya
Building a tip tap means that Flora’s children stay clean and healthy!
Flora Anyango Wambia from Kenya was so impressed by her tip tap training that she built four around her farm. With six children to look after, it used to be a struggle to keep them clean and healthy. Her children would often get upset stomachs and be weak and sickly.
Now, she has tip taps outside the kitchen, toilet and cow shed, as well as in the garden. She has taught her children how to use them and as a result, their tummy bugs have all cleared up.
